I am playing catch up on my blog posts. Just posting randomly as I go through my photos. My old Mac desktop crashed a few months ago, and all of my photos were gone! Just like that. However I found a great local place that does computer/phone repair, and they went above and beyond to make sure I got my photos back, and I did! Yippee. I cried for days when I thought I lost all of those memories. I even tried convincing myself that we still have the memories, just not the photos.....how could I do such a thing??? Anyway, I have all of my photos back and i'm in the process of organizing and getting them on to my 4 external hard drives. Such a process, and if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to shoot me a message on instagram or on here. I would love to know what everyone else does with their photos. I have an end goal, just need to get there.
I want to share my 1st babies 9th birthday! (2017). This was his last actual birthday party. He wanted to have it at Lazer Kraze. You can do laser tag, as well as trampolines. So it was kind of a 2 for 1.

Better late than never I guess.
Pigeon Roost Farms has been a yearly tradition for us for several years now. It's not the traditional go to a field and pick your pumpkin, it's much more than that. And our boys love it. We questioned wether or not they were getting to old to go this year, and I asked them what they liked about going there. They said "the activities". So we went again! I LOVE LOVE LOVE natural light photography, but there is nothing more I love, than a GREAT location. The simplest things & places, make for some AMAZING photos!
Along with natural light comes lens flare, another LOVE for me.
The contrast of the blue, against the bean field (which all along i've thought it was a wheat field) is PERFECT!
Last but not lease, who doesn't LOVE a good black & white? They're my FAVORITE!

The Circus came to town!
